Radiotherapy Suite Extension Linacc 6

Velindre NHS Trust commissioned HL Design to design an extension to the original Radiotherapy Suite to provide an additional Linear Accelerator treatment room and ancillary accommodation. The project had to be carefully designed to integrate with the original scheme reflecting the integrity of the initial design, whilst maintaining the operation of the two existing treatment rooms during the construction. The new development houses a single 10 Mv dual energy linear accelerator.
