Velindre NHS Trust commissioned HL Design to design and Project Manager an extension to the original Radiotherapy Suite providing two additional Treatment rooms and extensive ancillary accommodation. The project also required the provision of a revised and extended car park layout within the heart of the hospital, whilst maintaining the function of the existing treatment rooms and vehicular circulation within the site. Once again the building was designed to maintain the integrity of the original scheme, and once completed all three projects linked seamlessly providing one homogeneous design. The new development houses two 10 Mv Dual Energy Linear Accelerators.
